Phoenix Films is a production company based in Ireland. Storytelling is key to everything we do. We make documentaries and factual content for a wide and varied audience. We take ideas and make them into films, short and long, ambitious and creative, broadcast and online. Run by Martina Durac & Julien Behal, the company is producing a slate of projects in different genres, with national and international partners. The key objective is to create films that excite our interest and draws viewers in. Martina is one of the most experienced directors and producers of documentary films in Ireland & and has lectured widely on film making in a number of colleges. She is on the board of the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland and sits on its Doc Alliance committee. Sh ehas designed many documentary workshops over the years. Julien Behal is a director and producer whose award-winning work as a photo-journalist as one of Ireland’s leading photographers has taken him all around the world.
